Australia Becoming...Conversations with Mary Graham

  • BrisWest Centre 132 Latrobe Terrace Paddington, QLD, 4064 Australia (map)

Make it stand out

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

A facilitated conversation, hosted by the Australia Becoming…Collective, held on Sundays monthly between 1pm - 4pm.

In these Conversations, Aunty Mary Graham and Leanne Levinge take us through the elements of the Aboriginal Worldview—a complex form of society, fully engaged with the Land and all the beings that live on it.

They offer us a reassuring message as we search for new, more nourishing ways of working together.

Useful, though not essential, pre-reading is Aunty Mary's foundational work, ”Some Thoughts about the Philosophical Underpinnings of Aboriginal World Views”. You'll find a copy at: www.australianhumanitiesreview.org/2008/11/01/some-thoughts-about-the-philosophical-underpinnings-of-aboriginal-worldviews/

There is a break for afternoon tea so you can meet and catch up with an interesting group of like-minded people, and we share a "potluck" of treats (you're welcome to bring some to share).

Attendance is ticketed ($40) and can be purchased via The Australia Becoming…Collective’s Humanitix page. Here you will also find details of the theme for upcoming (and past) events.
